A Day to Give

The Foxes partied hard by giving hard this TAILGATE. Here's the contents of the most recent press release with minor edits. Click here for the full story.

Kyoto Foxes Ludomancy Club wishes to announce that its players have decided, in a surprise move, to forgo attending any of this year’s TAILGATE parties being hosted around the globe to celebrate the OWL League’s inaugural season in favour of community service efforts.

Niko, Hand of the club, described the decision taken by the players as “shocking”, but said that nonetheless, she supported their decision wholeheartedly.

The Foxes’ management have demonstrated significant support of their playing group’s collective decision. The team, still in its own inaugural year, created its motto “Loyal. Determined. Cunning”. The motto selection committee carefully constructed the motto, including the placement of loyalty as the club’s very first statement. Said Niko, “Loyalty is something we always prioritise at Kyoto Foxes LC, and giving back to our fans and the community is a big part of that. The fact that the entire team wanted to join Ricky in his endeavors is something we’re incredibly proud of”.

“I understand that our youngest player, Ricky Le Fay, voiced his desire to take the time to return to his roots and undertake community service. I’m told that he explained to the group why he felt that way, and, leader that he is, his teammates felt inspired to do the same”.

It is not the first time this year that Ricky Le Fay has garnered media attention. In a wide-ranging interview with the Daily Horoscope, Head Sage Amethylia said “Take a look at Ricky Le Fay, for example - only 22 years of age and already playing a vital role in our first match. He has a lot of heart, and it shows”.

The Foxes have been travelling very well this season, with a 5-0 start. They remain determined to continue that success. Let’s hope they remain just as cunning throughout the remainder of their season matches.
