Owning a Ludomancy Club takes more than having a lot of money and attending lavish parties. You gotta WORK to gain respect for your Club in the magical community. Ludomancy does not exist without the heart and spirit of all members of a club working towards making magic.It will be up to you to make sure that the magic happens.
As a Lady of a Ludomancy Club you'll be in charge of the team's Clout as well as the Gems that the Magicians capture during matches. Ludomancy Gems can be used in a number of ways.
Goals
There are a number of possible goals that you may try to achieve for you or your team:
OWL Parliament Prime Minister (A vote using Clout will determine who is PM)
Mary McGalleon Award for Excellence in Club Finance (Most Profitable Club)
Beast of HYPE Award (Highest Rising Club in Popularity)
Spectacular Transformation of Non-Elementals Award (Most Gems in Possession)
Clout
Every team will start with 10 Clout Points that can be used to either put up a Parliament Policy to make a ballot item or vote on accepted ballot items. Clout will be replenished after Wednesday and Saturday Votes are cast. Clubs will always receive 10 Clout Points after every ballot vote, but they may find other avenues to gain Clout, either through Quests or potentially from selling gems to the right people.
On Mondays and Fridays, you'll be using Clout to bring items and policies up for vote at OWL Parliament. The policy items with the most Clout will be the items discussed. Only ten(10) policies will make it to the ballot, so the more Clout you use to push your agenda, the more likely it will make it to the ballot. If a policy is put forth by two or more different teams it will automatically be given one of the ten slots on the Parliament ballot.
Once the ballot is made, votes will be cast on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Once again you'll use your Clout to either vote for or against a policy. Policies will need to have more Clout marked for than Clout marked against. If even one Clout point is for and no clout is against the item will pass.
Gems
Gems are at the center of the action in a game of Ludomancy. The Gems that are captured by your Magicians are now under your charge to use as you see fit. You may directly use gems as Clout points equal to their current Gem point value. You may offer them as a part of trade. You may also find other events or Quests that may require certain types of Gems to complete. Use them wisely, and they may provide you with the Advantage you need.
